SKIN CARE: looking attractive in and out of twilight

Having an attractive looking skin is one great way of commanding effect as you walk out the door in a held out hand for lunch. Skin is the greatest organ which role in protecting human against infection and other harsh element is critical. When the body is having difficulty eliminating certain substance, it uses the skin as a type of warehouse to store water, drugs, metabolic bacterial toxins, salt, uric acid and other waste matters, thus neutralizing and eliminating them. The smell that a lot of people have is great testimony to this, and it is an indication that the body is in difficulty and needs immediate treatment, if it is to avoid disease, above all skin problems, which are not only extremely troublesome but also very unsightful. An adult skin is on average 1.5mm thick, with a minimum of 0.05mm on the eyelids and a maximum of up to 6mm on the heel. The skin is formed by two different layers which are; DERMIS- deeper layer and which provides the skin with elasticity and resistance.
This layer covers blood vessel found in the skin, which gives it a pinkish color. There exist a layer of fat at the base of the dermis and numerous nerve endings, which make the skin one of the most sensitive organs in the body. EPIDERMIS- found on the surface and which contains constantly growing cells that harden to form the corneal layer, which is continually being renewed. However, the functioning of these layers can be hampered by various activities in which the skin is exposed to and also the denial of certain elements sufficient for its health. As we all know that a healthy skin is a person’s pride, a damage skin can be very unsightful. Therefore developing and keeping a healthy skin is condition for looking attractive to the opposite sex. For a good looking skin is more appealing that a rough, hard and fungal infected one. There are several ways one can achieve this; 1. Take a bath/shower at least twice a day to remove germs, body secretions, and dirt as this help the skin carry out it functions properly. 2. Wash your hands with soap and water as often as necessary. 3. Wash all the skin folds of your body and the soles of your feet every day to avoid any disagreeable smell. 4. Endeavor to change your underwear every day. 5. At least once a week use hard sponge, a friction mitt or some other similar device to exfoliate the dead skin cells and correctly activate circulation in the skin. 6. Use oily soap to avoid irritating or eroding the skin if you have dry or sensitive skin. 7. Use moisturizing cream or milk. 8. Keep away from the effect of cold, humidity, and dryness by applying cream. 9. Do not smoke and avoid drinking alcohol, coffee and other toxic substances that have negative effect on circulation through the skin. 10. Eat fruit, fleshly root vegetables such as carrots and beetroot, and vegetable milk. These has been demonstrated to have the potency of regulating the altered vital functions, such as hair growth after prolonged, progressive alopecia, darken the air of people going grey, improve sexual potency and regulate certain menstrual disorders. BASIC DIETARY GUIDELINES FOR DIABETIC PATIENTS

Diabetes is a medical condition that is caused by lack of INSULIN, which makes the patient to produce a lot of URINE and as such become very thirsty. Diabetes is characterized by the excessive secretion of sugary urine. According to research, this disease is thought to affect between 2% to 4% of the population all over the world. CAUSES When there is insufficiency of insulin- the hormone which helps glucose to penetrate the cell, it result in cell starvation that, though the human body is surrounded by sugar, they are yet incapable to metabolize it. However, when you are faced with excessive amount of glucose in the blood (that is more than 12mg per 100ml), the kidney releases it into the urine thus the amount of urinary excretion increases. In order to compensate for the loss of water in the system, the affected person will then feel thirsty which raises the hunger for water. DIETARY GUIDELINES Diet is of critical importance in a diabetic, and prognosis will to a larger extent depend on the ability to follow the guidelines. These guidelines are useful for both type 1 and type 11 diabetes. TYPE 1 DIABETES 1. When planning your diet, take into consideration the amount of exercise you are doing. 2. Reduce the amount of time taken between meals. 3. Eat regular meals. 4. Avoid sugar and simple carbohydrates. 5. Control the amount of calories and protein required for growth. 6. In case of illness, adapt the diet as necessary. 7. Eat food that is rich in vegetable fiber such as wholegrain cereals TYPE 11 DIABETES 1. In case of obesity, lose weight and stay within the recommended range for your sex and height. 2. Eat nutritional and balanced diet. 3. Control the amount of sugar and simple carbohydrates in your diet. 4. Eat fiber rich food to better reduce the dose of insulin.

HOW TO OVERCOME FRIGIDITY

Frigidity is understood to be a lack of ability to enjoy sex. Every human being has a profound need and desire for love, respect and affection. Nobody is an island and, the feeling of being loved and acknowledged warms and enriches oneself, provides one with self-confidence and is a reflection of total joy. But the inability of a person to enjoy sexual intercourse could result in health crisis. The important of sex is attributable to a reduction in the rate and level of brain and heart related problems. What is more, love and affection dominate the basic need for sexual love. The affection between couples is closely related to sexual desire. When a couple’s sex life is not working, both partners feel restless, disheartened and dissatisfied. This situation can even make a woman sexually unresponsive, and a man impotent, which, in both cases, means the inability to reach orgasm. However, an insufficient response to sexual stimuli is not necessarily an indication of lack of interest in sex, rather a sign of a problem that can overcome that desire for sex. It is therefore, essential to find a solution to this problem by recognizing it, seeking help and willingly and consistently follow appropriate treatment. CAUSES OF FRIGIDITY Frigidity can be cause by the following;  Serious organic disease.  A traumatic initial sexual experience, such as incest, rape or more ignorance.  Psychological causes such as low self-esteem, repression that is imposed for moral or religious reason.  Wrong education about sexuality.  A man’s performance is often time the cause, as he is not familiar with women’s nature and has little understanding of lovemaking techniques. PHYSICAL TREATMENT  Follow a new way of life where you are in contact with nature such as sea, mountains, etc and the stimulant it has to offer such fresh air, sunlight, etc. as much as possible  Follow health problem as closely as possible PSYCHOLOGICAL TREATMENT In this case you will need to see an experience marriage counselor who can teach both partners appropriate sexual techniques to ensure loving, pleasurable relations Also with the help of a therapist, try to discover the emotional conflicts of mental trauma behind the frigidity, so that you can find the best solution MEDICAL TREATMENT If the frigidity is cause by a disease affecting the organs, it is therefore important to treat it.  USE VITAMIN E which can be found in cereal germ, especially wheatgerm, and in egg yolk, has an invigorating and stimulating effect on the sexual function.  Do not trust products that are advertised to have a supposed stimulating effect.  Do not take laboratory preparation except it is prescribed and dosed by a physician  Eat a balanced diet which provide effective natural stimulant If this article has been of help to you, I want you to leave your comment in the comment box so it can help Women and Health to improve upon it post.

EFFECT OF HEART DISEASE IN WOMEN

In the United States, 1 in 4 women dies from heart disease. In fact, coronary heart disease (CHD)—the most common type of heart disease—is the #1 killer of both men and women in the United States. Other types of heart disease, such as coronary microvascular disease (MVD) and broken heart syndrome, also pose a risk for women. These disorders, which mainly affect women, are not as well understood as CHD. However, research is ongoing to learn more about coronary MVD and broken heart syndrome. This article focuses on CHD and its complications. However, it also includes general information about coronary MVD and broken heart syndrome. Coronary Heart Disease CHD is a disease in which plaque (plak) builds up on the inner walls of your coronary arteries. These arteries carry oxygen-rich blood to your heart. When plaque builds up in the arteries, the condition is called atherosclerosis (ath-er-o-skler-O-sis). Plaque is made up of fat, cholesterol, calcium, and other substances found in the blood. Over time, plaque can harden or rupture (break open). Hardened plaque narrows the coronary arteries and reduces the flow of oxygen-rich blood to the heart. This can cause chest pain or discomfort called angina (an-JI-nuh or AN-juh-nuh). If the plaque ruptures, a blood clot can form on its surface. A large blood clot can mostly or completely block blood flow through a coronary artery. This is the most common cause of a heart attack. Over time, ruptured plaque also hardens and narrows the coronary arteries. Heart With Muscle Damage and a Blocked Artery Plaque also can develop within the walls of the coronary arteries. Tests that show the insides of the coronary arteries may look normal in people who have this pattern of plaque. Studies are under way to see whether this type of plaque buildup occurs more often in women than in men and why. In addition to angina and heart attack, CHD can cause other serious heart problems. The disease may lead to heart failure, irregular heartbeats called arrhythmia, and sudden cardiac arrest. Coronary Micro-vascular Disease Coronary MVD is heart disease that affects the heart's tiny arteries. This disease is also called cardiac syndrome X or nonobstructive CHD. In coronary MVD, the walls of the heart's tiny arteries are damaged or diseased. Coronary Microvascular Disease Figure A shows the small coronary artery network (microvasculature), containing a normal artery and an artery with coronary MVD. Figure A shows the small coronary artery network (microvasculature), containing a normal artery and an artery with coronary MVD. Figure B shows a large coronary artery with plaque buildup. Women are more likely than men to have coronary MVD. Many researchers think that a drop in estrogen levels during menopause combined with other heart disease risk factors causes coronary MVD. Although death rates from heart disease have dropped in the last 30 years, they haven't dropped as much in women as in men. This may be the result of coronary MVD. Standard tests for CHD are not designed to detect coronary MVD. Thus, test results for women who have coronary MVD may show that they are at low risk for heart disease. Research is ongoing to learn more about coronary MVD and its causes. Broken Heart Syndrome Women are also more likely than men to have a condition called broken heart syndrome. In this recently recognized heart problem, extreme emotional stress can lead to severe (but often short-term) heart muscle failure. Broken heart syndrome is also called stress-induced cardiomyopathy (KAR-de-o-mi-OP-ah-thee) or takotsubo cardiomyopathy. Doctors may misdiagnose broken heart syndrome as a heart attack because it has similar symptoms and test results. However, there's no evidence of blocked heart arteries in broken heart syndrome, and most people have a full and quick recovery. Researchers are just starting to explore what causes this disorder and how to diagnose and treat it. Often, patients who have broken heart syndrome have previously been healthy. Outlook Women tend to have CHD about 10 years later than men. However, CHD remains the #1 killer of women in the United States. The good news is that you can control many CHD risk factors. CHD risk factors are conditions or habits that raise your risk for CHD and heart attack. These risk factors also can increase the chance that existing CHD will worsen. Lifestyle changes, medicines, and medical or surgical procedures can help women lower their risk for CHD. Thus, early and ongoing CHD prevention is important.

NARCOTICS AND NEGATIVE EFFECT FROM WRONG USE

Narcotics are medications that are primarily used as pain killer in clinical settings. Some kinds of narcotics, as well as diacetylmorphine, also are used illicitly to provide intense feelings of high spirits. Besides the immediate therapeutic effects of narcotics, the medication turns out many probably negative short- and semi-permanent effects. Users could experience drowsiness, nausea, and disgorgement shortly when taking this drug. Most narcotics are thought of extremely addictive, and their abuse tends to provide a permanent dependence and severe withdrawal symptoms. Healthcare professionals ordinarily visit narcotics like pain pill, codeine, and oxycodone to assist patients take care of chronic pain. They’ll be administered intravenously or through oral capsules, and act nearly instantly to alleviate pain and discomfort. People under the influence of narcotic sometimes experience a major rise in their ability to feel bodily pain. The immediate effects additionally embrace pleasant, elated feelings; a feeling of hysteria and worries; and somnolence. SYMPTOMS Medical patients and narcotic users ordinarily experience variety of symptoms because the immediate effects of narcotics wear off. 1. It’s common for an individual to feel sleepy-eyed and apathetic for many hours when using the drug. 2. The pupils constrict, the face turns red as blood vessels dilate, and respiratory becomes shallow. 3. Additionally, someone will experience confusion and a persistent itch everywhere in his or her body. EFFECTS OF NARCOTIC USAGE 1. Feeling of Euphoria: Narcotics produce a spread of physical manifestations that surpasses mere fascination for narcotic abusers. Narcotics produce exaggerated sense of well-being or elation, reduced anxiety, pain relief and sedation. Over time, tolerance to such euphoria effects tends to develops. 2. Result in illness and death: Unless taken overdose, use of medically prescribed narcotics seldom directly ends up in death. There’s rising risk of malady, infection, however, with illicit drug use typically given to the life-style of narcotic abusers. For example, injection of narcotics while not sterile instrumentation will increase the danger of skin infection, heart inflammation, hepatitis, and AIDS. What is more, in step with the U.S. Drug social control Administration, narcotics oversubscribed on the road might contain extra compounds, creating their effects unpredictable and doubtless deadly. 3. Physical dependence and pregnancy complication: Narcotics don't cause birth defects; but, regular use of narcotics throughout maternity causes physical dependence in the newborn kid. What is more, use of narcotics throughout labor and delivery will cause a decrease in female internal reproductive organ contractions and metabolism depression in the newborn. Metabolism depression in a very newborn could be a doubtless fatal condition.

HOW TO MANAGE STRESS AND FATIGUE

Once the body reacts to physical, mental or emotional stimulus, it can cause stress which interferes with your health or normal functioning. Stress occur when situations exert more pressure on you than you think you can handle. One symptom of long-term stress is fatigue, which is defined as physical or mental exhaustion. Fatigue causes a dulling of your senses, thought processes and reflexes. Calling attention to the “red flags” of stress and fatigue is an important part of the Crew Resource Management family of skills, that help caregivers work as effective team members. With routine monitoring of stress and fatigue, you can anticipate behavior that leads to ineffective teamwork and risks to patient safety. Stress often results from your own reaction to a situation, rather than from the situation itself. You create most of your own stress, and you can also manage it. However, if stress continues or isn’t managed, it leads to pain, illness, injury, emotional problems, fatigue and disruptive behavior, all of which inhibit your own effectiveness and that of your team, as well as seriously affect patient safety. UNDERSTANDING STRESS AND FATIGUE Stress results from stimuli such as overwork, anxiety, fear, worry, illness, injury or trauma. It also follows major life events such as job or marital changes, financial difficulties, the death of a family member and so on. Even positive events like an awards presentation or a wedding act as powerful stressor, since something is usually given up in return for getting something better. In addition to dealing with stressful situations outside the job, you face a high-pressure environment every day. As you work long hours, juggle various tasks and deal with multiple patients and other issues, you may feel that it’s impossible to take time to rest, exercise, sleep or eat properly. The demands of your job cause stress; ignoring your body’s basic needs adds to it. If this continues without relief, you experience fatigue, exhaustion, depression, burnout, illness, pain, and suppression and degeneration of the immune system. You may also exhibit irritability and disruptive behavior, which interferes with your team’s effectiveness and can create disciplinary problems for you. When the mind perceives a stressful event, the body automatically begins the biological “fight or flight” stress response: releasing adrenaline, tensing muscles, boosting heart rate, constricting blood vessels, slowing the digestive system, causing “tunnel vision” and so on. Without proper rest, exercise and nutrition to counteract these effects, the body continues producing the stress response until it is fatigued or exhausted. When you are fatigued, you have a limited attention span and little energy to function effectively. Some common effects of fatigue include physical weakness, mental sluggishness, forgetfulness, restlessness, euphoria, slow reflexes and reaction time, and microsleeping (“nodding off” for a few seconds at a time). Fatigue severely undermines your performance, especially during irregular or high-risk procedures. Research has shown that more than 20 percent of all serious incidents and bad patient outcomes are fatigue-related. When you experience fatigue, you can’t concentrate, causing you to easily lose situational awareness—the constant state of knowing what’s going on in your immediate environment, why it is happening and what is likely to happen next. Also, fatigue causes more stress from inattention to details, poor decision-making and unintentional medical errors. Sometimes, fatigue can be resolved by sleeping sufficiently or leaving a high-stress environment; however, continuing poor sleeping habits or not coping with that environment produces chronic fatigue. In addition to fatigue, dozens of other disorders result from stress. Stress affects the nervous system—especially through the digestive and intestinal systems—and the hormone-producing adrenal and thyroid glands. Stress can begin with simple headache, backache and neck pain. As the stress accumulates over time, you are susceptible to ailments like insomnia, irritability, dizziness, depression, high blood pressure, impotence, loss of appetite, cardiovascular conditions, colitis, digestive disorders, ulcers, hair loss, anxiety and nervous disorders, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, premenstrual and menstrual disorders, skin conditions, temporomandibular joint pain and clicking, and weight loss or gain. Managing stress and fatigue is important for maintaining a culture of quality and patient safety. To bring down the damaging effects of stress and fatigue, 1. deal with the problems and learn how to cope. 2. Do not ignore root causes, symptoms and effects of the problem on your body, mind and behavior. 3. In some cases, you may require a counselor to help you manage your stress and fatigue.

RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS: get a pang free muscle

Rheumatism is a disease which causes pains, stiffening and swelling of the muscular and joint regions of a person's body. The term is used to describe a large number of clinical manifestations that affect the components of the skeletal muscle. All rheumatic disorders are characterized by inflammation and pain that generally affects the joints. Rheumatism give rise to the different joint and muscular related disease that devastate the human health, especially when one start to aged. However, rheumatoid arthritis get worse over a period of time and causes painful swelling and permanent damage in the joints of the body, especially the fingers, wrists, feet and ankles. RHEUMATOID arthritis is a disorder of the joints that involves the chronic inflammation of the synovial membrane. As FIBRIN is secreted and progressively invades the cartilage and bones, destroying them and leaving malformation and invalidity in its wake. Rheumatism attacks three times as many women as men; hence it is the result of an (non-infectious) immunological reaction of the connective tissue. SYMPTOMS symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis first appears between the ages of 35 and 45 and the signs are as follows: 1. Nodules form underneath the skin that covers the pressure points, and the cartilage and bone are slowly destroyed. 2. The small joints in the hands and feet are usually the first to be affected, causing morning stiffness. 3. This is followed by a spindle-shaped swelling of the finger and toe joints and puffy swelling of the wrist and ankle joints. 4. General health is affected by an undefined sensation of illness, nervous over-excitability, depression, disorders affecting the sensitivity of the hands and feet, myalgia (muscle pain) that comes and goes, excessive sweating and occasional slight rises in temperature. DIAGNOSIS The disorder is diagnosed through the process of RADIOLOGY and blood analysis. therefore, bear in mind that the problems affecting the joins are not the actual disease itself, but merely a very noticeable symptoms when applying treatment. GENERAL TREATMENT For rheumatoid arthritis, treatment mainly work on the skin, neurovegetative system, metabolism and immunological system. these treatment are as follows: 1. Dry brush massage over the whole body followed by low abdominal washes at alternate temperature. 2. Short air and sunbaths and high-mountain climatic cures. 3. It is recommended to apply a full hot baths and brush massages in the water, to which plant extracts of holm oak bark and sulfurous baths. 4. After taking the bath, wrap yourself warmly in bed for at lease an hour to allow for transpiration. DIETARY TREATMENT A cure that is based on a raw fruit and vegetables for two to three weeks, followed by a low-salt vegetarian diet is recommended. FOR MEDICATION 1. Cryotherapy (with gold salt) only when indicated by the physician 2. A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory especially salicylates is recommended. If medication proves unsuccessful, then surgery can be perform to remove the synovial membrane (synovectomy), which however, help remove the field of action of the disease and impede the destruction of the joint.

CANCER: living a riskless life

A tumor cancer is describe as the abnormal spread of cells. The fundamental difference between malignant tumor and benign tumor is that the latter is limited; it develops slowly and do not penetrate the tissues or blood vessels. However, a malignant cancer on the other hand, grows quickly and randomly, thereby destroying and also invading the surrounding healthy tissues, and using the bloodstream to spread to distant organs (metastasis). Some benign tumors like those affecting the brain are said to be lethal as many of the malignant tumors are curable, provided they are detected and treated at early stage. Among diseases, cancer ranks high as a major killer, being responsible in recent years for tons of thousands of deaths per year in the world. It is estimated that one million people in the United State receive treatment for some kinds of cancer related ailment each year. Of these, more than half are new cases, having been diagnosed for the first time during the year. If present trend continues, about one fourth of the nation’s population will sooner or later develop cancer. A malignant tumor-sometimes starting as or in a chronic ulcer-is one which grows irregularly and tends to infiltrate surrounding tissues or to be carried to other parts of the body through blood lymph channels and to implant itself and grow there. Because of this tendency, cancer is likely to damage important or vital organs or tissues in any or all parts of the body, resulting in serious disease and often death. Statistics indicate that deaths from cancer are still increasing. Some argue that the increase is the natural result of saving the lives of children and youth and allowing a larger proportion of the population to reach the “cancer age.” Therefore, that this fact enters into the increase is undeniable, but most authorities agree that it is not enough to account for all the increase, especially for the increase in lung cancer and certain other varieties. One difficulty is that many cancers are not detected at early stage of occurrence until they have spread to such an extent that they become incurable. CAUSES OF CANCER Medical science is yet to made final discovery of the basic cause of cancer. However, the following facts exist: 1. Long-continued irritation or repeated injury resulting from pipe smoking, syphilis of the tongue (=jagged teeth or rough fillings often precedes cancer of the tongue) 2. An increased life expectancy. 3. While heredity has a definite influence on the occurrence of cancer in human beings, the hereditary lines represented in any given individual are so complex that it is difficult or impossible to predict what will happen in his case. 4. There are those who feel that diet may have contributory influence; and there is no proof that they are wrong. SIGNS OF CANCER • A persistent change from normal in bowel action • Irregular bleeding or blood-tinged discharge from any body opening, including a nipple • Persistent lump or thickening in tissue, especially in the lip, breast or tongue. • Persistent hoarseness, cough or sore throat. • Indigestion or loss of appetite, mostly in people over forty years of age. Some doctors believe it wise to have all tumors, whether they show signs of becoming cancerous or not, completely removed at the earliest opportunity. Any long-continued sores on the skin or on the mucous membranes of the body opening should be examined by biopsy or other appropriate methods and should be treated without delay if proved malignant.

DEALING WITH ANOREXIA NERVOSA

Anorexia nervosa is associate degree disorder that's characterized by tries to change state, to the purpose of starvation. An individual with anorexia could exhibit variety of signs and symptoms, the sort and severity of which can vary and should be gift however not pronto apparent. Anorexia nervosa, and therefore the associated deficiency disease that results from voluntary starvation, will cause complications in each major organ system within the body.[13] Hypocalcaemia, a call in the extent of K within the blood, could be a sign of anorexia. a major call in K will cause abnormal heart rhythms, constipation, fatigue, muscle injury and palsy. Some people could lack awareness that they're sick. Symptoms could include: Refusal to keep up a traditional body mass index for one's age Amenorrhea, a symbol that happens once prolonged weight loss; causes catamenia to prevent, hair becomes brittle, and skin becomes yellow and unhealthy. Petrified of even the slightest weight gain and takes all preventative measures to avoid weight gain and changing into overweight Obvious, rapid, dramatic weight loss to a minimum of V-J Day underneath traditional body weight Lanugo: soft, fine hair growing on the face and body Obsession with calories and fat content of food Preoccupation with food, recipes, or cooking; could cook elaborate dinners for others, however not eat the food themselves Food restriction despite being scraggy Food rituals, like cutting food into small items, refusing to eat around others, activity or discarding food Purging: could use laxatives, diet pills, emetic sweetener, or water pills; could have interaction in self-induced vomiting; could run to the toilet once consumption so as to vomit and quickly get eliminate eaten calories Excessive exercise Perception of self as overweight despite being told by others they're too skinny Intolerance to cold and frequent complaints of being cold; vital sign could lower (hypothermia) in an attempt to conserve energy cardiovascular disease or hypotension cardiac arrhythmia or cardiac arrhythmia Depression. Causes There is proof for biological, psychological, organic process, and content risk factors, however the precise explanation for consumption disorders is unknown. Biological Dysregulation of the monoamine neurotransmitter pathways has been involved within the etiology, pathological process and pathophysiology of anorexia. Genetics: anorexia is much inherited. Twin studies have shown a heritability rate of between twenty eight and fifty eight. Association studies are performed, finding out 128 completely different polymorphisms associated with forty three genes as well as genes concerned in regulation of consumption behavior, motivation and reward mechanics, temperament traits and feeling. Consistent associations are known for polymorphisms related to agouti-related amide, brain derived neurotrophic issue, catechol-o-methyl enzyme, SK3 and opioid receptor delta-1. Epigenetic modifications, like polymer methylation, could contribute to the event or maintenance of anorexia, although clinical analysis during this space is in its infancy. Medical specialty complications: antenatal and per natal complications could issue into the event of anorexia, like maternal anemia, DM, toxaemia, placental infarct, and infant internal organ abnormalities. Infant complications may additionally have associate degree influence on damage shunning, one amongst the temperament traits related to the event of associate degree.[medical citation needed] System deregulation: altered signaling of peptides that facilitate communication between the gut, brain and fat, like internal secretion, leptin, neuropeptide Y and orexin, could contribute to the pathological process of anorexia by disrupting regulation of hunger and satiation. Infections: Some folks are hypothesized to own developed eating disorder dead as a reaction to a eubacteria or true bacteria infection. medical specialty acute-onset medicine syndrome (PANS) could be a hypothesis describing youngsters WHO have abrupt, dramatic onset of psychoneurotic disorder (OCD) or anorexia coincident with the presence of 2 or additional medicine symptoms. Studies have hypothesized the continuance of disordered consumption patterns could also be epiphenomena of starvation. The results of the Gopher State Starvation Experiment showed traditional controls exhibit several of the behavioural patterns of anorexia (AN) once subjected to starvation. this could ensue to the various changes within the system system, which ends up in an exceedingly self-perpetuating cycle. Another hypothesis is that anorexia is additional possible to occur in populations during which blubber is additional rife, and results from a sexually hand-picked biological process drive to look young in populations during which size becomes the first indicator mature. Anorexia nervosa is additional possible to occur in an exceedingly person's time of life years. Some informative hypotheses for the rising prevalence of consumption disorders in adolescence are "increase of fat in women, secretion changes of time of life, social expectations of magnified independence and autonomy that are significantly tough for anorexic adolescents to meet; magnified influence of the coevals and its values." Psychological Early theories of the explanation for eating disorder coupled it to childhood sex crime or dysfunctional families; proof is conflicting, and well-designed analysis is required. Sociological Anorexia nervosa has been more and more diagnosed since 1950; the rise has been coupled to vulnerability and learning of body ideals. folks in professions wherever there's a selected social pressure to be skinny were additional possible to develop eating disorder, and people with eating disorder have a lot of higher contact with cultural sources that promote weight loss. This trend may also be ascertained for folks that partake in sure sports, like jockeys and wrestlers. there's a better incidence and prevalence of anorexia in sports with a stress on aesthetics, wherever low body fat is advantageous, and sports during which one has got to build weight for competition. Media effects Constant exposure to media that presents body ideals could represent a risk issue for body discontentment and anorexia. The cultural ideal for body form for men versus ladies continues to favor slender ladies and athletic, formed muscular men. A 2002 review found that the magazines most well-liked among folks aged eighteen to twenty four years, those browse by men, not like those browse by ladies, were additional possible to feature ads and articles on form than on diet. Body discontentment and learning of body ideals are risk factors for anorexia that threaten the health of each male and feminine population. Websites that stress the importance of attainment of body ideals praise and promote anorexia through the employment of spiritual metaphors, way descriptions, "thinspiration" or "fitspiration." Pro-anorexia websites reinforce learning of body ideals and therefore the importance of their attainment. Pregnancy nutrition: Healthy-diet basics

Eating a healthy diet during pregnancy is one of the best things you can do for yourself and your baby. After all, the food you eat is your baby's main source of nutrition. Smart choices about pregnancy nutrition can help you promote your baby's growth and development. Check out these guidelines, designed for a 25-year-old woman who has a normal weight and gets 30 to 60 minutes of exercise a day. If you're older, overweight, or follow a more or less intense workout program, your nutritional needs might differ. To find the plan that's right for you, visit the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Daily Food Plan for Moms. Grains Grains provide essential carbohydrates, your body's main source of energy. Many whole-grain and enriched products also contain fiber, iron, B vitamins, various minerals and a small amount of protein. Fortified bread and cereal can help you get enough folic acid. What to eat: Make sure at least half of your grains each day are whole grains. If that sounds like a lot, don't worry. It might not be as much as you think. You can get most of your day's grains with a bowl of fortified cereal for breakfast, a lunchtime sandwich made with two slices of whole-wheat bread and whole-wheat pasta for dinner. To optimize pregnancy nutrition, trade sugary cereals and white bread for whole-grain cereals, brown rice, whole-wheat pasta and whole-grain bread. Try wild rice or barley in soups, stews, casseroles and salads. Look for products that list whole grains, such as whole-wheat flour, first in the ingredients list. How much: Suggested daily servings of grains for a woman age 25, 5' 4" Weight before pregnancy 1st trimester 2nd trimester 3rd trimester 110 lbs. (49.9 kg) 6 oz 8 oz 9 oz 140 lbs. Vitamin C, found in many fruits and vegetables, helps you absorb iron and promotes healthy gums for both you and your baby. Dark green vegetables have vitamin A, iron and folate — other important nutrients during pregnancy. What to eat or drink: Top your cereal with slices of fresh fruit. Make a veggie pizza. Add extra vegetables to your casserole. If you're tired of apples, oranges and green beans, branch out. Try apricots, mangoes, pineapple, sweet potatoes, winter squash or spinach. Make trail mix with a variety of dried fruit. Fruit juice counts, too, but remember that too much juice can lead to undesired weight gain. PROSTATITIS; It adverse effect and treatment

Infection of the prostate gland may come through the bloodstream from some focus elsewhere in the body, but more often it comes from germs that pass upward through the urethra. A chronic infection in the prostrate may in turn act as a focus of infection. Sometimes the gland is acutely infected, or even abscessed. This causes frequency of urination, with pain and burning, both day and night; pain in the back, rectum, perineum, etc; blood or pus in urine; a urethral discharge; chills and fever; and general prostration. With chronic infection, the chills and fever are not likely to be present; blood rarely shows in the urine, a urethral discharge is uncommon, and all the other symptoms are less severe, but there is likely to be a persistent feeling of fullness or discomfort in the region of the gland. A chronic congestion of the prostrate, without infection, may result from sexual excitement, especially if not relieved by sexual intercourse; and it may produce a sensation of fullness in the external genitals, and sometimes generalized feelings of lassitude and nervousness. CAUSES However, causes of prostatitis include the following; 1. Cystitis 2. Dissemination of blood from distant sources of infection 3. Sexual relations with a person infected with trichomoniasis 4. Blennorhagia: an STD also known as gonorrhea PHYSICAL TREATMENT For the physical treatment of prostatitis, the following will suffice if treatment is taken with due care 1. Apply flashing jet at alternate temperature over the pelvis region 2. Hot hipbaths. The hipbaths should be at alternate temperatures 3. Apply dry brush massage or friction over the lower abdomen 4. Use T-wraps DIETARY TREATMENT Other ways with which you can checkmate prostatitis infection is by following a good dietary lifestyle. 1. Follow a vegetarian diet 2. Reduce your intake of salt and meat until they have been practically eliminated from diet 3. Avoid using toxic stimulants such as tobacco, caffeine, etc. 4. Visit a physician for proper diagnosis and follow up treatment

WHAT YOU WISH TO GRASP REGARDING ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUG MEDICATION

Antihypertensive medication square measure medicines that facilitate to lower vital sign in folks whose vital sign is high. Vital sign measures the force with that blood moves through the body's system of blood vessels. Though everyone's vital sign goes up and down within the course of a typical day, some people have vital sign that stays high all the time. This condition referred to as cardiovascular disease. Cardiovascular disease isn't an equivalent as nervous tension. Those that have high vital sign aren't essentially tense, in suspense, or nervous. They’ll not even bear in mind of their condition. Being attentive to high {blood pressure, vital sign, pressure, pressure level, force per unit square measure} and doing one thing to manage it are extraordinarily necessary, however. Untreated, high vital sign will result in diseases of the center and arteries, urinary organ injury, or stroke, and may shorten life. Treatments for top vital sign rely on the kind of cardiovascular disease. Most cases of high {blood pressure, vital sign, pressure, pressure level, and force per unit square measure} are known as essential or primary cardiovascular disease that means that the high vital sign isn't caused by another medical condition. For many folks with primary cardiovascular disease, it's tough to work out the precise reason behind the matter. However, such cardiovascular disease typically may be controlled by some combination of antihypertensive drug medication and changes in daily habits (such as diet, exercise, and weight control). Dominant primary cardiovascular disease is but a womb-to-tomb commitment. Though folks could also be ready to reduce the quantity of medication they take as their vital sign improves, they typically should continue taking it for the remainder of their lives. In folks with high blood pressure, the high vital sign could also be due to medical issues like nephritis, narrowing of sure arteries, or tumors of the adrenal glands. Correcting these issues usually cures the high vital sign, and no more treatment is required. Many forms of medication square measure used alone or together with different medication, to treat high vital sign. the foremost classes are: • Angiotensin-converting protein (ACE) inhibitors, like benazepril (Lotensin), ACE inhibitor (Capoten), ACE inhibitor (Vasotec), angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor (Prinivil, Zestril), quinapril (Accupril), and ramipril (Altace). ACE inhibitors work by preventing a chemical within the blood, Hypertensin, from being regenerate into a substance that will increase salt and water retention within the body. These medication additionally build blood vessels relax, that more reduces vital sign. • Angiotensin II receptor antagonists, like losartan (Cozaar) and losartan with Esidrix (Hyzaar). These medication acts at a later step within the same method that ACE inhibitors have an effect on. Like ACE inhibitors, they lower vital sign by relaxing blood vessels. • Beta blockers, like beta-adrenergic blocking agent (Tenormin), metoprolol(Lopressor), Corgard (Corgard), propranolol (Inderal), and beta-adrenergic blocking agent (Blocadren). Beta blockers have an effect on the body's response to sure nerve impulses. This in turn, decreases the force and rate of the heart's contractions, which lowers vital sign. • Blood vessel dilators (vasodilators), like antihypertensive (Apresoline) and Loniten (Loniten). These medications lower ital sign by restful muscles within the vas walls. • Calcium channel blockers, like amlopidine (Norvasc), Cardizem (Cardizem), isradipine (DynaCirc), calcium-channel blocker (Adalat, Procardia), and calcium blocker (Calan, Isoptin, Verelan).Drugs during this cluster slow the movement of metal into the cells of blood vessels. This relaxes the blood vessels and lowers vital sign. • Diuretics, like Hygroton (Hygroton), diuretic drug (Lasix), Esidrix (Esidrix, HydroDIURIL), and metolazone (Zaroxolyn). These medications manage vital sign by eliminating excess salt and water from the body. • Nerve blockers, like alpha Aldomet (Aldomet), Catapres (Catapres), antihypertensive drug (Wytensin), guanadrel (Hylorel), guanethidine (Ismelin), prazosin(Minipress), rauwolfia derivatives (Reserpine), and alpha-blocker (Hytrin). These medications manage nerve impulse on sure nerve pathways. This enables blood vessels to relax and lowers vital sign. The counseled indefinite quantity depends on the kind, strength, and kind of medicinal drug. Take antihypertensive drug medication precisely as directed. Never take larger or additional frequent doses, and don't miss any doses. Some antihypertensive drug medication could take many weeks to perceptibly lower vital sign. Once it begins to figure and symptoms improve, continued to require the drugs as necessary. Stopping some hypertensive medication suddenly could cause serious issues. Antihypertensive medication won't cure high vital sign, however can facilitate managing the condition. To avoid the intense health issues that prime vital sign will cause, patients could need to take medication for the remainder of their lives. Medication alone might not be enough. Folks with high vital sign additionally might have to avoid sure foods and keep their weight in restraint. Anyone taking antihypertensive drug medication mustn't take the other prescription or over-the-counter drug when not 1st checking together with his or her medico. Some medicines could increase vital sign. However, antihypertensive drug medication could act with several different medicines. Once this happens, the consequences of one or each of the medication could magnify or the chance of effects could also be larger. Anyone taking antihypertensive drug medication mustn't take the other prescription or nonprescription (over-the-counter) medicine while not 1st checking together with his or her medico.

DIABETES INSIPIDUS; know your status and act faster

This is the disorder of the pituitary gland causing excessive thirst and excretion of large quantities of dilute urine. Diabetes insipidus is a rare, chronic disorder in which large quantities of dilute urine are produced. It is accompanied, by a desire to drink large amount of water. The urine in this disorder does not contain glucose (sugar) as is the case of diabetes mellitus. The fundamental difficulty involved in this case is a failure of the posterior lobe of the pituitary to produce the normal amount of the anti-diuretic hormone (ADH), which acts on the cells of the kidney tubules in such a way as to favor the resorption of water from the kidney tubules. CAUSES This is caused by a deficient production of hormone responsible for water metabolism in the posterior pituitary gland, with symptom being an increase in thirst (polydipsia). TREATMENT Periodic administration of vasopressin or an efficient diuretic is advisable.

DIABETES MELLITUS: the hard core treatment

We have so much as heard about diabetes as it is a common disease of human and poses a serious health risk to the society. diabetes is a disease which affect about 2% to 4% of the population all over the world. on this pose we will treat the disease in separate post as diabetes is of two kinds. thus, we will treat diabetes mellitus which is by far the common. a disorder of carbohydrate metabolism, with obvious hereditary background in about 50% of cases, characterized by the production of large quantities of urine and by excesses of glucose in the blood and the urine. Diabetes Mellitus is a disorder of carbohydrate metabolism characterized by excessive thirst and excretion of abnormally large quantities of urine containing an excess of sugar, caused by a deficiency of insulin. the onset may be at any age. usually the disease first becomes apparent following some major demand on the body's resources such as severe injury, a serious infection, or a circumstance of emotional stress. the incidence of diabetes mellitus is higher in overweight people than in those with normal weight. In diabetes mellitus there exist deficit in the storage and release of glucose by the lever and an interference with the process by which the body's cells are able to use glucose as their source of energy. A person suffering from this disease must therefore derive more of his energy from the metabolism of protein and fat than in normal cases. A tragic feature of diabetes mellitus is that when it goes untreated serious complication develop, thus reducing the person's life expectancy. one of these is a tendency to early degeneration of the body and with the coronary arteries of the heart being particularly involved. Abnormal conditions also tend to develop in the nervous system, such as a peripheral neuritis, loss of sense of vibration, loss of normal control of urinary bladder. Also ever-present is the danger of a loss of consciousness due to an imbalance between the amount of insulin and glucose in the patients blood and tissues. SYMPTOMS Other symptoms of diabetes mellitus includes; 1. tiredness 2. weight loss due to permanent loss of glucose through urine 3. pruritus (itching) 4. excessive production of urine 5. excessive thirst 6. A desire to void at night 7. bed-wetting 8. an increase in appetite in spite of loss of body weight 9. weakness TREATMENT Dietary treatment of diabetes mellitus includes the following 1. eat diet that have less concentration of carbohydrate with increase iprotein and feat. 2. avoid glucose that are rapidly absorbed by the digestive system and which provoke high levels of hyperglycemia and, as consequence, glycosuria, which makes it difficult to control the diabetes. limit the amount of disaccharides (lactose, sucrose, maltose) and include more of polysaccharides (starch) in your diet; whole grain oats 3. eat food rich in vegetables fiber 4. eat fresh fruit and vegetables 5. avoid using excess amount of fat. use between 25%-30% of total intake of calories per day, depending on physical exertion, age and metabolism. 6. in the case of ketosis, eliminate protein from diet until condition disappear. 7. consume food with a high provitamin A content, such as carrot, orange, plums OTHER TREATMENT 1. C old full bath in the morning and cold arm bath in the afternoon. 2. drink chlorosodium mineral water for intestinal evacuation, biliary function and liver decongestion. 3. take alkaline mineral water 4. take time to exercise; regular light exercise to avoid hypoglycemia 5. sunbathing 6. rest on a regular bases 7. avoid smoking 8. control your own weight 9. meet your physician for medical advice. If you carefully adhere to this instruction, you will help your self reduce the level of diabetes mellitus and stay healthier

PNEUMONIA, the rising lungs disease and what to do

Pneumonia is a disease of the lungs in which the delicate lung tissue becomes acutely infected. Thus, this is a serious inflammation that generally affects one or more lobes or areas of the lungs. The pulmonary alveoli, the tiny air sacs that forms the lung tissue, fill with inflammatory liquids and pus. This pose difficulty for oxygen to pass into blood, and thus, pneumonia is generally considered to be very serious. Several kinds of germs and viruses may result in such an infection. When the infection involves principally one lobe of the lung, the disease is term Lobar Pneumonia. But when it is scattered throughout the lung and involves the delicate tissue closely related to the bronchi, it is called Broncho pneumonia. Pneumonia is a very serious infection because 1. A person's very life depends on the continuous functioning of the lungs 2. The toxemia is usually relatively great In the diseases of the digestive organs a person may go without food for a while, thus giving the affected organs a rest from their usual functions during the process of healing. But the lungs must function continuously, day and night, whether they are involved with disease or not, in order that oxygen and carbon dioxide might be exchange to satisfy the need of the body cells. CAUSES Common symptoms includes: 1. Cold sores 2. Stabbing pains in the side, shivering and headache 3. Coughing up dark sputum 4. Bluish skin and mucous membrane cause by respiratory overload DIETARY TREATMENT 1. Try linseed, wheat grain, macerated prunes and figs in order to speed up intestinal transit 2. Use light diet that include much of liquids and rich in vitamin, contains oats, fruits and natural fruit juice PHYSICAL TREATMENT 1. Apply gentle massage on the extremities to avoid thrombophlebitis 2. Apply washes to the chest or complete washes, adding vinegar to the water 3. Use balsamic essences vapor 4. Apply enemas with the use of German Camoline in order to counter constipation

ASTHMA: what to do when diagnose

Asthma is a respiratory disorder, often allergic origin, characterized by difficulty in breathing, wheezing and a sense of constriction in the chest. A case where difficulty in breathing that is brought upon by the narrowing of the bronchi during short period of the time, is observed. However, the seriousness of this breathing disorder depend on the extent to which the tubes become narrow. Such narrowing and possible difficulty occur as a result of respiratory infections (Asthmatic bronchitis), general hypersensitivity to dust, atmospheric pollution or cigarette smoke and nervous factor. In asthma there is interference with the passage of air through the membrane-lined tubes that serves the lungs. The lining of the bronchi (the branches of the trachea that extend into the lung) become congested and swollen, and an unusual amount of mucus is secreted within these tubes. The patient has more difficulty in expelling air than in drawing it in. Half the cases of asthma are caused by factors which i have mentioned earlier and the remaining seems to result from infections of the organs of breathing in which the patient has become sensitive to the products of the germs responsible for the infection. Upon the causes and symptoms of asthma, the treatment is in two categories: GENERAL TREATMENT 1. Make careful observations of the contacts which seems to aggravate the asthma and to which supposedly, the patient may be sensitive, and treat it accordingly 2. Extreme of cold and of humidity should be avoided by the patient 3. A warm drink or the inhalation of vapor from a vaporizer or from a pan of boiling water may be helpful 4. Alternate bath with hot poultices made with mustard or linseed powder applied to the chest 5. Apply hot half-bath with hot arm baths every one or two days 6. Follow effective health program as strictly as possible to cure and prevent this disorder DIETARY TREATMENT 1. Follow anti-allergic diet that helps eliminate all animal products, contain low salt and exclude milk and eggs 2. Do not consume asthma allergy related food, eliminate the food from your diet 3. Use raw fruit and vegetables
