A HEALTHY WAY OF LOWERING BLOOD PRESSURE AND STROKE PREVENTION

Blood pressure is the amount of force that blood exerts on the walls of blood vessels(BV) as it travels through the circulatory system. blood does not travel in a steady flow but is propelled through the BV with force of every heartbeat. each time the heart contracts- a period known as systole- blood pressure rises as more  blood is forced through the arteries. every systole is followed by a moment of relaxation called diastole, when blood pressure drops as the heart refills with blood and rest before its next contraction. Because pressure in the arteries rises and fall with each heartbeat, readings include two values- systolic blood pressure on the top and diastolic blood pressure on the bottom. therefore, if your blood pressure is 140/90 mm Hg, this means you have a systolic blood pressure of 140 mm Hg and diastolic blood pressure of 90 mm Hg.
many people with HBP do not know they have it. that's because hypertension is a silent disease and usually gives fewer or no sign of warning before it happens with its major complication of stroke. therefor, detecting it and taking precaution to avoid it can dramatically reduce your risk of stroke, heart attack and kidney disease. Good enough, in most cases the condition can easily be detected and is usually controlled with a combination of diet, exercise and medication.
Also know that hypertension is a major risk factor for the development of Atria Fibrillation (AF). And when the two condition coexist in the human system, the risk of stroke sharply increases. so for the benefit of people who are diagnose of HBP, i will like to suggest fewer steps of dealing with this health issue while also encouraging you to visit your physician. take the following prescriptions
1.  Exercise: the power of exercise can not be treated with levity for it is good for building up the body. regular exercise can help you reduce dosage of medication or possibly eliminate the need for HBP drugs.
2.  Visit the right surgeon for Carotid Endarterectomy: left in the hand of a skilled or experienced surgeon, this step will help reduce TIA and stroke risk significantly.
3. On Sodium and Potassium: learn to reduce your intake of salt as this can increase your blood pressure. do not take too little of potassium as it can lower it also. Learn to take charge of your blood pressure through dietary measures.
4. Reduce your intake of alcohol: there is a compelling evidence that high alcohol intake is associated with high blood pressure.
5. Visit your doctor for proper health advice and ask questions to know better about your health and chances of HBP related diseases.
