PNEUMONIA, the rising lungs disease and what to do

Pneumonia is a disease of the lungs in which the delicate lung tissue becomes acutely infected. Thus, this is a serious inflammation that generally affects one or more lobes or areas of the lungs. The pulmonary alveoli, the tiny air sacs that forms the lung tissue, fill with inflammatory liquids and pus. This pose difficulty for oxygen to pass into blood, and thus, pneumonia is generally considered to be very serious. Several kinds of germs and viruses may result in such an infection. When the infection involves principally one lobe of the lung, the disease is term Lobar Pneumonia. But when it is scattered throughout the lung and involves the delicate tissue closely related to the bronchi, it is called Broncho pneumonia. Pneumonia is a very serious infection because 1. A person's very life depends on the continuous functioning of the lungs 2. The toxemia is usually relatively great In the diseases of the digestive organs a person may go without food for a while, thus giving the affected organs a rest from their usual functions during the process of healing. But the lungs must function continuously, day and night, whether they are involved with disease or not, in order that oxygen and carbon dioxide might be exchange to satisfy the need of the body cells. CAUSES Common symptoms includes: 1. Cold sores 2. Stabbing pains in the side, shivering and headache 3. Coughing up dark sputum 4. Bluish skin and mucous membrane cause by respiratory overload DIETARY TREATMENT 1. Try linseed, wheat grain, macerated prunes and figs in order to speed up intestinal transit 2. Use light diet that include much of liquids and rich in vitamin, contains oats, fruits and natural fruit juice PHYSICAL TREATMENT 1. Apply gentle massage on the extremities to avoid thrombophlebitis 2. Apply washes to the chest or complete washes, adding vinegar to the water 3. Use balsamic essences vapor 4. Apply enemas with the use of German Camoline in order to counter constipation

ASTHMA: what to do when diagnose

Asthma is a respiratory disorder, often allergic origin, characterized by difficulty in breathing, wheezing and a sense of constriction in the chest. A case where difficulty in breathing that is brought upon by the narrowing of the bronchi during short period of the time, is observed. However, the seriousness of this breathing disorder depend on the extent to which the tubes become narrow. Such narrowing and possible difficulty occur as a result of respiratory infections (Asthmatic bronchitis), general hypersensitivity to dust, atmospheric pollution or cigarette smoke and nervous factor. In asthma there is interference with the passage of air through the membrane-lined tubes that serves the lungs. The lining of the bronchi (the branches of the trachea that extend into the lung) become congested and swollen, and an unusual amount of mucus is secreted within these tubes. The patient has more difficulty in expelling air than in drawing it in. Half the cases of asthma are caused by factors which i have mentioned earlier and the remaining seems to result from infections of the organs of breathing in which the patient has become sensitive to the products of the germs responsible for the infection. Upon the causes and symptoms of asthma, the treatment is in two categories: GENERAL TREATMENT 1. Make careful observations of the contacts which seems to aggravate the asthma and to which supposedly, the patient may be sensitive, and treat it accordingly 2. Extreme of cold and of humidity should be avoided by the patient 3. A warm drink or the inhalation of vapor from a vaporizer or from a pan of boiling water may be helpful 4. Alternate bath with hot poultices made with mustard or linseed powder applied to the chest 5. Apply hot half-bath with hot arm baths every one or two days 6. Follow effective health program as strictly as possible to cure and prevent this disorder DIETARY TREATMENT 1. Follow anti-allergic diet that helps eliminate all animal products, contain low salt and exclude milk and eggs 2. Do not consume asthma allergy related food, eliminate the food from your diet 3. Use raw fruit and vegetables

ACUTE (SEPTICAL) ARTHRITIS AND WHAT YOU SHOULD DO

Acute or septic arthritis may attack people who for sometime have had tonsillitis, decayed teeth, pus pockets around tooth roots, infection in nasal sinuses or mastoid cells or infection in the intestinal tract. Arthritis may be a complication of such acute infectious diseases as septicemia, rheumatic fever, erysipelas, scarlet fever, and several others. The disease is more common among young adult, and males are affected more than females. Acute arthritis usually begins rather abruptly; the fever rises quickly, and , at the same time, one or more joints become swollen and very painful, especially when moved. But the infection is localized in one joint. There is loss of appetite, marked thirst, profuse acid perspiration of a peculiar sour odor, and, in many cases, constipation. The urine is scanty and strongly acid. The swollen joint is tender and hot to the touch and may have a reddish appearance. If not promptly and properly treated, permanent stiffness and deformity of the joint may result. PRECAUTIONS 1. During the first day or two at most, ice compresses may be used thirty to forty-five minutes out of every hour. Wrap the compress or bag in a Turkish towel before applying. If no noticeable relief of pain is observed, discontinue the process. 2. Later, long continued heat application is helpful, whether if form of fomentation, hot-water bottles or any other method that is convenient to use. This is to be attended every night. 3. Protect the body against chilling 4. Take a liquid diet as long as fever persist. Eat little or no meat but plenty of fruits 5. Visit your physician for further medical care.

THE DAMAGING EFFECT OF STROKE AND WHAT TO DO

Stroke is the rupture of a blood vessel in the brain resulting in loss of consciousness, often followed by paralysis, or embolism or thrombosis affecting a cerebral vessel. Stroke is caused by severe damage to some parts of the brain because of an interruption of the blood supply to such part. And the exact symptoms in a particular case are determined by the particular part of the affected brain. The demand of the brain for a continuous supply of fresh blood are so great that one-fifth of the blood pumped by the heart is delivered to the brain. An interruption of the blood supply to any part of the brain result in permanent damage to the brain cells within about five minutes. Stroke of one kind or another account for about one-fifth of the deaths in the broad category of cardiovascular disease. About 80% of the deaths from stroke occur in people who are sixty-five years old or above. Eight out of ten persons survive their first stroke attack, but these are usually handicapped to a greater or lesser degree, perhaps by a paralysis of some muscles resulting from permanent damage to brain. Although the onset of stroke is sudden , the underlying disease condition has usually been of long standing. Stroke result when fomentation of blood clot (thrombosis) at the site blocks a vessel-a complication of arteriosclerosis. It may be caused by a rupture of an artery wall in the brain with consequent escape of blood into the brain tissue. The symptoms may develop instantly or over a period of several minutes. The patient usually collapse and may loss consciousness. His face may be red and congested. There may be vomiting or be pulled to the strong side and other effects. PRECAUTIONS There are several measures to be taken in event of this 1. Visit your physician 2. Give yourself complete bed rest, preferably with head and shoulders elevated slightly. 3. Apply cold compresses(cloth wrung out of ice water) or inn ice bag intermittently to the patient forehead and face. 4. Do not use stimulants except on prescription 5. In event of vomiting, turn your head to one side to prevent choking 6. In event of convulsions development, placed a tightly rolled cloth between your teeth to prevent injuries to your tongue 7. It may be necessary to empty your bladder by catheter 8. During convalescence it is necessary you arrange a progressive program in which a patient is guided in taking exercise, in self-care, and in learning to walk

The chlorine ion is however harmless as it is combine with other substances and forms part of hydrochloric acid in the stomach when it combines with hydrogen. It is widely understood that people retain salt in their tissues. this in turn, refers that excess water is also retain here, which may result in onset of many diseases due mainly to an increasingly difficult metabolic exchange. However, salt as a preservative is not poisonous rather the amount of usage in our meals makes it so, especially a daily average of 30 to 50 grams per person per meal, an overdose and which constitutes a toxic level. Nevertheless, organs and tissue functions in adult can be seriously affected as continued and excessive intake of salt may result in the following; 1. Can lead to a serious heart, kidney and liver disease 2. May induce edemas during pregnancy 3. Can result in blood hemorrhoids 4. May lead to the inflammation of the mucous membranes: the stomach (gastritis), the gum (gingivitis) and the intestine(enteritis) 5. Result in higher incidence of migraines. Abuse of salt which adverse effect may occur with a daily consumption of 10 grams, and the content of salt in meal is closely related to diseases such as cancer, tuberculosis and migraine. CHROROPHYLL: its importance for your health

Chlorophyll is a green pigment of plants and photosynthetic algae and bacteria that traps the energy of sunlight for photosynthesis and exists in several forms. it is crucial for plant survival because it is the agent for photosynthesis. The molecular composition of chlorophyll is identical to the human blood cell, so it is often referred to as 'green blood.' In human blood, the nucleus of its molecule is iron, while in chlorophyll the nucleus is magnesium. Chlorophyll is easily assimilated by the human body in its liquid state. so it cleanses the blood and builds red blood cells in no time. there is a close relationship between the red pigment found in blood and the green pigment found in leaves. Hemoglobin, the red pigment found in blood is the bearer and transmitter of oxygen, which is vital for your body. In turn, chlorophyll, the green pigment found in vegetable is responsible for the miracle of forming an organic substance (sugar and starch) from gas (carbon dioxide) and water, with the help of sun, thus creating the base of human nutrition. Both pigments are vital substances. EFFECT OF CHLOROPHYLL IN YOUR BODY 1. it helps the functioning of the heart and also facilitates intestinal function and metabolism. 2. it increases the formation of hemoglobin, and the number of red blood cells. 3. it prevent blood vessel fro contracting and reduces blood pressure. 4. increases muscles and nerve performance and help eliminate water 5. chlorophyll regulates the function of the uterus 6. it freshens the body and breath 7. it increases organic tissue development The wonderful green material revitalizes all cells and act as a natural cosmetic. if this health article is of benefit to you , please kindly leave a comment so we can serve you more

If you do not take this advice, you are slowly but surely leaving yourself open to biliary and hepatic disease as well as malignant and benign tumors. Moreover, unsaturated fatty acids, act as a barrier against cancer. fats included in healthy diets should be limited to those fats that have been purified using physical processes. Apart from olive oil, the other vegetable oils that can be used are seed oil and wheat germ oil that is produced using cold processes. the most vegetable oils offered by plants are obtained from cereal grains as their content in biological compounds are almost ten times greater than seed oils. they have a high content of all active fat- soluble substances, mainly Vitamin E and vitamin F which are critical for fat metabolism. seed oils, combined with olive oil, and used moderately do not result in obesity, and are the healthiest fat of all.
